Benedict Aitken: "Next year in August I have decided to attempt a long time goal of mine to swim the English Channel from England to France... it’s a very very big challenge and one that I can’t blag 😂 the challenge will involve me swimming 22 miles across the channel without a wetsuit or any human contact and if all goes to plan should take me close to 10-12 hours. More people have scaled Everest than swam the channel... I will be doing this for myself but also for a charity that is close to me through my best pal @joshuaocock. The charity ‘Mission of Love Malta’ is run by his wonderful Parents Patrick and Maria O’Cock and helps the Ati tribal people in the Philippines. They have built a school that supports 120 children, an emergency medical fund and help with sustainable projects to help the Ati be self-sufficient. Myself @ed_norris and @joshuaocock will be travelling out the Philippines next year to see the amazing work happening through the charity and also to give me some super powers to finish the challenge."
